AMAZINGGGGGG!

When you look inside of a UPS box you think your getting a package right. Well thats how this movie went wrong. Yes of course they were getting a package, but it was nothing like what Theo thought it would be. It started with little Theo walking out his house with his new ACG boots on. He's a nerd at the time so he just wants to fit in.

After some of the process of Theo working with the thugs you see him starting to wear a GUCCI hat representing that hes changing through his clothes. These thugs kept tellinq Theo to do their dirty work for them. He sold these mysterious boxes to strange people like a crackhead, a skin head, and a tall dude wearing a NORTH FACE. At the end the box reveals the surprise inside and lets just say he was getting DOUGH for DOUGH.

Another Tragedy

JUSTINE- Yet again, my team and I had to film on a cold snowy day. We filmed in the freezing weather with nothing accomplished from the first shooting day. My team and I worked ourselves til we could nomore. We finished our intire short film in just one day and switched our original location to something closer and convenient. Now that we are fully accomplished with filming our short film, all we need to do it edit it and our movie will be a great success and fully completed. We hope that all our hard work will catch audiences attention and other film maakers such as directors attentions so we can show people how we work and what makes us good at what we do. My team and I would love to have the oppurtunity to go to China to produce a real movie if we do win this competion but if we dont win we would like to just take our hardwork and film and find things where we didnt do to well at and correct it.

Dough

Justine- The steps leading to our achievement in making our first short film was the most difficult but the best learning experience ever. We never real thought is was going to be this difficult but we did our best jobs and out in all of our dedication and team work into this project. Being a producer was really though but I loved the challenge. Im basically the person who works the magic.

Audition days were very exciting because thats when you really saw the movie coming into place. We had about 5-6 hours worth of auditions and the next person was always better then the other, so tough you thought you wanted someone to play a specific role, your thoughts always changed around to the next person that walked in. As the shooting days got closer and closer, so did the work and the fustration. Even on our filming day, the fustration was very high until we actually started shooting.

We were originally assigned to shoot on a wednesday but due to a snow storm, we were rescheduled. Our actors cancelled so we had to work things out and luckly we had our directors brother and friend who agreed to hard work. We also took along some associates to come and help us. You would of though the acting would of been off because they are amartures, but the actors were really cooraperative. Due to our rescheduled film dates, our first shooting date was filmed in the rain, and slush. It was so bad that our teacher had gotten splashed by a passing car. She was fully soaked from head down. Rain and the extreme coldness did not help us one bit but lucky for us, a generious man who owns a small resturant let us stay and warm up, and also made us tea.

All in all this project was hard but is coming up to be a workin beauty. Thanks to my team, this film might actually bring us far to Hong Kong if possable.

SHEESH THE WEATHER !!

Our day of shooting was crazy, since it was raining and  freezing cold at the same time. The team was not expecting this and we had to shoot on that day only. But actually the shooting went pretty well we got all the shots in and are actors was doing a great job. The teams first day of shooting was an awesome dat of shooting and i had fun even though the weather was horrible.

Raenell

I've learned so much from this experience, knowledge in which I would apply to each film aspect I encounter. Filmming this project has been a blast as well as benefitual. I've acquired the skill of problem solving as well as effective communication. I was the DP/ Director of Photography also known as Cinematographer. I also gave a helping hand in production. I've become a better DP and person in general. This process has really magnified my passion for filmmaking.

DOUGH

Jordan Tyson- i helped make this film because of the message that it sends to the viewers. It shows that not all thuggish films has to be serious but, it can be funny wich shows that not all kids have to grow up and be a thug. Instead they can have a fun and healthy life so thats ONE of the many reason i am helping make this film. Another reason is that this is all new to me and its a great experience to work on film making and to work with a group where everyone has there own role.

PERSEVERANCE

It was raining and i was soaking wet when shooting, but aganist all odds we prevailed. I got some well composed shots in. We had a couple of laughs and a good time overrall besides the confrontations. Our actors were fun and easy to work with and so was our teaher. Ms.Oh is always supportive and kept us focused throughtout the day.

DOUGH

During this whole month of January, all of 10th grade students were assigned to do a movie. You had an option to write a screen play or just be apart of the people who were choosen to do their movie. My team and I were chosen and given a great oppurtunity to do this project even though it took hard work and dedication. We agreed on the roles we felt best in like producer(Justine), director(Nixion), "D.P"(Raenell) and so on.

My team and I posted up ads. for actors in which we had many that wanted to audition. Choosing was the hardest part because we went more on their acting skills rather then looks. Doing so kind of messed up our images on our characters. Once the characters came into place, it was time to shoot our film. We were assigned to start filming on a cold rainy day where everyone took part of and didnt really complain. It was the hardest thing to do but we all managed to do at least one long scene within 2 or so hours of work.
