Dough

Justine- The steps leading to our achievement in making our first short film was the most difficult but the best learning experience ever. We never real thought is was going to be this difficult but we did our best jobs and out in all of our dedication and team work into this project. Being a producer was really though but I loved the challenge. Im basically the person who works the magic.

Audition days were very exciting because thats when you really saw the movie coming into place. We had about 5-6 hours worth of auditions and the next person was always better then the other, so tough you thought you wanted someone to play a specific role, your thoughts always changed around to the next person that walked in. As the shooting days got closer and closer, so did the work and the fustration. Even on our filming day, the fustration was very high until we actually started shooting.

We were originally assigned to shoot on a wednesday but due to a snow storm, we were rescheduled. Our actors cancelled so we had to work things out and luckly we had our directors brother and friend who agreed to hard work. We also took along some associates to come and help us. You would of though the acting would of been off because they are amartures, but the actors were really cooraperative. Due to our rescheduled film dates, our first shooting date was filmed in the rain, and slush. It was so bad that our teacher had gotten splashed by a passing car. She was fully soaked from head down. Rain and the extreme coldness did not help us one bit but lucky for us, a generious man who owns a small resturant let us stay and warm up, and also made us tea.

All in all this project was hard but is coming up to be a workin beauty. Thanks to my team, this film might actually bring us far to Hong Kong if possable.
